Whattaday whattaday

I don't know where to begin...the top I guess. Work was super hectic today, I was running around like a little bee. From picking up the cake for the pizza party to training the new support staff person. She was supposed to get trained by someone else but between new job conversations, goodbyes, smoke breaks and Pepsi breaks, there wasn't much training taking place in the one week time. When Peaches and I went to pick up the cake, we asked the lady behind the counter to write "Neighborhood Networks" and under it, "Job Well Done". Good thing she decided to write it on paper first, when she wrote it, it read "Neighbor Hood Network, Gob Well Done (yes she put a space in that word, no "S" at the end of Network and a "G" in "Job"). Peaches took the paper from her when she handed it to us for review and wrote the correct information. I wish I would've taken a picture but there was still a lot of space at the bottom of the cake, we couldn't walk out the store with it like that and she forgot the "S". We took it back and asked her to add the word "Team". She did and added an exclamation point that started to high up. I was glad to get through that experience with an okay looking cake.

I met someone with dreadlocks heading into the office after picking up the cake, I typically don't do the hair in that capacity, but we'll see. This brutha just happens to be in my path on my way to standard readjustment. Nice shoes, nice hands and he wears a shirt and tie.

There's a lot going on around the office in general. These different things are causing mixed emotions, i'm feeling excited, happy, spirit broken, and uneasy all in one, each way about different situations of course.

The old head called today and COMPLETELY pissed me off. Now if you know me, you know I can go off if the right (or wrong may be better) button is pushed. Well this cat effed around and pushed that button. I went off and runnin at super speed. You'll have to call me for content.

I hit up The Street tonight with my girl Clair. We did the dang thang at the bar for the firs time this summer, that was our summer breakout at The Street. I ran into a couple familiar faces and it felt good to see them and get my dance on of course....sippin on water all night long. I'm home and sleepy now....g'nite.

Tired

Not much happened today but a typical day at work, class was cool and my work from is about 93% finished. I'm not feelin the blogging tonight, and I have a 7 am appointment so i'll catch up later.

Last minute

I don't know why I always end up completing important documents at the last minute. I have been preparing for the submission of my proposal for two week now, but now that it's due, i'm still not done and am thinking of requesting an extension. We'll see how far I get by COB tomorrow, but I have class so I won't be able to work late.

My classes this quarter are pretty good. On Monday I have Business Law and on Wednesday's I have Business Writing. The only thing I don't like is how freakin expensive these book are but just like every other quarter, i'll get them eventually.

The propositioners' birthday was today, he called and I had forgot all about it, he said to me "I thought you would've called to wish me a happy b-day" and I said, though I forgot, "You were on my to do list, I just wanted to call when I went on break so i'd have a little more time to talk and sing to you, but since you are on the phone, (Stevie Wonder's rendition) Happy Birthday To Ya' Happy Birthday To Ya' Happy Buurrrth Day". He was satisfied with that and had no way of knowing if it was really on my to do list or not. He then told me he had the money for my hizzair and he wanted to catch up with me for visual stimulation on his birthday. Of course I didn't feel comfortable taking the money on his birthday, especially feeling like he may think I owe him or that he's getting something special......with that thought, I did just that, something special....made him a yellow cake with choc icing. This appeared to be right up his alley, he was on his way to a card game and was going to take it with him to share with his buddies, he also said he'd sell them at his job if it was good enough to advertise. I told him that's what's up and let me know what the consensus says.

I missed they gym today, but like yesterday, I will go after class tomorrow. I have a crazy next couple days so i'm not sure how through i'll be with this daily blogging thing. I'm sure i've missed some stuff but that's all folks! (For now)

Weekend pickup

I'm not sure where I should begin since I skipped a day but my weekend was good overall. I hung with my girl Clair as usual and hit up a Q, went out for a drink and dessert afterwards with a friend.

I went to a baby sprinkle on Sunday after completing a chart for the proposal i'm working on. It was really nice, not overly crowded not to much or to little of anything.........all the little imperfections fit quite perfectly, but that's neighbor lady's style, doin' it just right. I have to say i've met a lot of people and admire all of them for different reasons, but she holds the title for Worlds Hottest PG Woman. She stays on point until the end, with the exception that we all have a bad day time to time. If I was having any babies, she's who I would've kept in mind as I shopped and prayed to carry it as well as she does.

I went to have chocolate cake later that evening and was given a proposition. I clearly stated that I didn't know the going price for this and maybe he should check a street corner or strip club *please note; this statement does not any way meant to insult either profession, I never wanted to walk the street, but I had a secret desire to learn this. He then told me he could have made an offer I couldn't resist and my reply was......"then why didn't you?" Any way, he back peddled quickly and said he only wanted my company......................

Okay, there is a GIANT BUG in my room and I have no idea what it is, i'm sorry.....i have to watch this corner like a hawk until I see it again......geesh, glad that's over, it's like 1:30 am, I had to watch the corner for like 25 minutes until it resurfaced then got buck wild with the broom and the bug. Okay, back to my story......

and he just wanted to see what I was going to say (summed up version). I just laughed, we both knew he tried his hand.

Well all the bug nonsense took to much energy, toodle-loo for now.
